Huduma Centre Mombasa Hosts South African Delegation
Mombasa Huduma Centre this week played host to senior government officials from the National School of Government (South Africa) for a learning and benchmarking experience.
The delegation comprised of Cabinet Ministers, Senators, Members of the National Assembly, Provincial Government Premiers, Mayors, Deputy Governors, Chairs of Independent Commissions, CEOs, Directors, and Judiciary Officers. The team is currently studying the second module of a governance training program facilitated by KSG Mombasa.
During the visit they familiarized themselves with the Huduma Centre one-stop-shop model in Kenya and convened discussions on the pivotal role played by Huduma Centres in transforming service delivery across the country.
This aligns perfectly with the training program undertaken by the South African delegation focusing on Economic Governance. The program addresses common challenges and formulates effective solutions in critical areas of national economic development shared by both Kenya and South Africa.
The interaction between the two delegations fostered a rich exchange of ideas and experiences, offering valuable insights into the implementation and impact of Huduma Centres in Kenya. It also facilitated a broader discussion on improving governance practices for enhanced service delivery and economic development in both nations.
