
HUDUMA KENYA WINS THREE WARDS AT THE APSD EVENT
The Africa Public Service Day (APSD) is an annual event celebrated to honor the significance of public service and the contributions of public servants to society. Established at the first Pan-African Conference of Ministers of Public and Civil Service in Tangier, Morocco in 1994, the APSD emphasizes the importance of public service in fostering democracy and effective governance across Africa. The celebrations occur at both national and continental levels, with the continental event being biennial.
This years APSD was held on June 22nd and 23rd at the Lower Kabete Campus in Nairobi. The theme for this year's event was “Building a resilient education system: The foundation for a Future of Public Service as a Catalyst for Revitalizing the Economy”.
Huduma Kenya, was participant in the event, and achieved notable recognition in several categories:First Place in "Leveraging ICT to Build Back a Better Public Service",Third Place in "Fostering Innovation to Deliver Inclusive and Equitable Services for All, Including Through Digital Transformation and First Runner-Up for "Best Managed Organization".
