Huduma Centre Construction Kicks Off in Matuu
Relief for Yatta Residents as Huduma Centre Construction Begins in Matuu
Residents of Yatta Constituency are set to benefit from improved access to government services following the groundbreaking ceremony for a new Huduma Centre in Matuu Town. The facility will serve Yatta and the neighboring constituencies of Masinga, Mwala and Matungulu, significantly reducing the need for residents to travel to Machakos Town or Thika town for essential Government services.
The groundbreaking event, held on Thursday 27th March, was presided over by Huduma Kenya CEO, Ben Kai Chilumo, Yatta MP Robert Basil, Marakwet West MP Timothy Toroitich and Yatta Sub-County DCC James Chacha. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Chilumo conveyed President William Ruto’s goodwill and support, emphasizing the government’s commitment to enhancing service delivery at the grassroots level.
The new Huduma Centre aligns with Huduma Kenya’s vision of establishing service points in all 290 constituencies, ensuring efficient, accessible and citizen-centric service delivery across the country.
